Landon Knotts, Associate Attorney

Landon Knotts, an Associate Attorney at MLG, is deeply dedicated to advocating for people who have been injured. Growing up in Sulphur Springs, Texas, a close-knit community east of Dallas, Landon developed a strong sense of personal responsibility and care for others. These small-town values, coupled with his close family ties, naturally led him to a career in law, where he could make a tangible difference in people's lives.

Championing Legal Excellence and Community Service

Upon graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government, his passion for improving the lives of those around him naturally led him to Oklahoma City School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2019. Immediately after being licensed as an attorney, he began his career as an advocate for people who have suffered personal injuries at the hands of other people’s negligence.

Education and Background

Known for his gentle demeanor and commitment, Landon brings genuine empathy to his practice, understanding the profound impact physical injuries can have on individuals and their families. His approach to each case is deeply personal, ensuring that clients receive the compassionate support and expert representation they deserve. Landon is relentless in his pursuit of justice, striving to secure fair outcomes that provide hope and resolution for those facing challenging times.

With experience on both the Plaintiff side and Defense side of personal injury litigation, Landon is intimately familiar with the strategies and practices of defense attorneys and the insurance carriers that hire them. He has the knowledge necessary to make sure that the insurance companies are placing the appropriate significance on what his clients have suffered to make sure they are justly compensated. Landon values his communication with his clients and works to understand what they have been through and what they need most.

His commitment to working to advance his clients’ interests is reflected in his favorite portion of Scripture which guides his posture towards his colleagues, friends, and those for whom he advocates daily: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4.

Outside of his legal work, Landon is a devoted husband and father, cherishing time with his wife and daughter. He is actively involved in his church and community, reflecting his strong faith and commitment to helping others. His dedication to his clients and his passion for advocacy make Landon a powerful and compassionate ally for those he serves in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Some of his hobbies and interests include reading, cheering on the Longhorns and Rangers, shopping for used books, and going to estate sales.
