McCraw Law Group is proud to support charity: water, a nonprofit organization that has brought clean and safe water to people around the world since 2006. We help people get the compensation they deserve and guide them through the most challenging times of their lives. We want our efforts to stretch beyond what we can accomplish here in Texas. charity: water has partnered with rural communities across 29 counties to improve hygiene, water quality, and sanitation for more than 16.8 million people. Clean water has the power to improve health and quality of life, from increasing access to food to boosting local economies. With access to clean water children can have more baths and people will have more time to earn an income. Access to clean water and basic sanitation has the power to save 16,000 lives every week. Unfortunately, 771 million people still live without clean water spending hours a day collecting water that is not even safe to drink. Worldwide women and girls spend 200 million hours daily collecting water. We are happy to announce charity: water has active projects in 22 countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.
