Mckinney Shamrock Run 5k

The Warriors Keep is a McKinney-based veteran nonprofit. Their goal is to offer free help to Veterans’ healing process by educating and assisting in outdoor therapy. This method of therapy has been proven to help improve quality of life by helping them to reflect and achieve inner peace in a positive environment while also providing a way to reconnect socially to the community.

The McKinney Shamrock Run 5K will take place on March 12th from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at TUPPs Brewery located at 721 Anderson St, McKinney, TX 75069! The race starts at 9 a.m., and participants will race around the McKinney Cotton Mill to the finish line. There will be cash prizes awarded to the overall top finishers, along with awards for the winner of each age group.

Packet pickup will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, March 9th, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Academy Sports and Outdoors in McKinney at 1720 W University Dr, McKinney, TX 75069.

Don’t forget to stick around after the race for St. Patrick’s Day festivities! An outdoor vendor market, costume contests, St. Patrick’s Day photo booth, food trucks, live music, and more will be going on throughout the day until 6 p.m.
