A lifelong Texan, Amy Bryant Hefner has spent 25 years fighting for families as a personal injury trial lawyer. Her passion for justice is fueled by a deep sense of community and the values passed down from a family of public servants and faith leaders.
Education and Background
Born in Austin and raised in Dallas, Amy comes from a family engaged in public service. After her father, a trial lawyer, served in the Texas Legislature and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, the family relocated to the Washington, DC area, where she graduated from Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Virginia. She returned to Texas to attend The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Arts through the Plan II Honors Program with a minor in Spanish. Amy received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she was elected to Order of the Coif and discovered her passion for trial practice.
